The Mind Is Sorry The Body Suffers

Read what teacher and author of Cool, Hip, and Sober, Bill Manville, has to say about his former student: "Jerome was born with a feeling for language and writing. In Thumb Flagging he explores the universal desire for movement and travel in a way that shows he has a feeling for form too. And I know how hard he works. An impressive first novel at the start of what I feel will be an impressive career."

“In a short-fused age when don’t tell me about your sick mother or that your dog is dead is the rule -- Just Win, Baby the only message that counts -- Jerome Peterson stands out with one wonderful novel after another ---each reminding us that the bottom line ethic is merely the exaltation of greed. He gives us heroes to root for, characters who stay with us long after we close the book, and ever and always, vivid prose alive on the page. "   Bill Manville New York Daily News January 7, 2011

The Haunting of Andrew Sharpai by Jerome Peterson Author Jerome Peterson has crafted an extremely entertaining novel. The characters are well developed, especially the hero/drifter Andrew, and the strong, mysterious yet vulnerable Iris. The quirky and intelligent Lily adds a humorous touch without the precociousness so often seen in young fictitious characters. The Haunting of Andrew Sharpai cast a spell on me—I couldn’t stop reading until I knew how it turned out. Suspense, a fast pace, plot twists, romance, wacky animals, and family bonds make this one of the best books I’ve read in 2010. If you enjoy a great paranormal thriller, The Haunting of Andrew Sharpai is a must read!” January 6, 2011

“I had the pleasure of reading one of Jerome's books entitled: Leaving Family Behind, which follows the turbulent lives of a brother and sister as they immigrated to the United States from Lithuania. From the very beginning I was entranced with the story and I fell in love with the characters, so much so that I did not want the story to end.The best thing about the book is that Jerome writes with great emotion and vivid imagery. I found myself getting angry, feeling sadness, and laughing out loud. This is a great read and I highly recommend it! ~Darya” January 6, 2011
